Ireland has dropped out of the top 20 most attractive global countries for venture capital and private equity investment, according to a new report published today.

...to some extent none of this type of commentary is surprising...economy struggling, why would people not be concerned about investing here? I think the real opportunity is for Irish entrepreneurs looking to build global web based plays - to be honest the funding of these may well take place outside Ireland.
